Est 2005

Local Media Services Company was founded in 2005 as an online news wire, photography & video provider for sporting organisations and associations.

In 2010 the business moved on from news wire services and closed its sports new website focusing solely on video production, broadcasting and video services.

The company is now a huge producer of sports video content and official broadcast and media services provider to NRL in WA, NRL in NT, Hockey NT, Perth Football League, Rugby Western Australia, NRL Touch Football, Gridiron West and the Australian Baseball League (ABL) and Football NT.

Our multi-levelled services range from TV broadcasting, IPTV broadcasting, TV series production, production management, live streaming, sports recording & video management, ENG network services, broadcaster (TV) transmission services.

Our capabilities and equipment are expansive with our own Outside Broadcasting van, more than 30 broadcasting camera sets, 7 mobile TV capable broadcast fly kits, TVU networks TV transmitters & Receivers, and a professional production crew of more than 50 across the country.

We maintian studio production facilities in Cockburn, south of the Perth CBD, and live streaming & broadcast HUBs both in Perth & Darwin, includinh:

three multi-input production suites with full graphic, playout & EVS style replay
two in-house live commentary suites for remote commentary
six live stream stations for live GFX overlay
master control & monitoring
remote playout to multiple end points.

In 2024 we opened an office in Darwin in the NT and extended our operations to the east coast with the capability to produce & broadcast from anywhere across Australia.

Having been at the forefront of the new medium - online broadcasting - we have almost a decade's worth of experience in online streaming. We are the experts in live streaming.

REBECCA MACRAE - Chief of Staff

Rebecca manages the delivery of equipment and crew that service our broadcast and production projects across the country.

She also fills Event Management, Producer and Floor Manager roles to our major projects.
